In the spring of 1997, The Tower Brass was created through generous donations and a demand for brass music from Fourth Presbyterian Church in Chicago. Since then, the ensemble has been touring throughout Illinois bringing incredible brass performances to diverse audiences everywhere. Matthew Comerford founded this ensemble with the intent to bring warmth and beauty into the world through its inspiring concerts.

Today, the mission of the Tower Brass Ensemble is simply to create joy and beauty through music.
